Media working for large companies usually have Public Liability insurance which can be checked before an event, however for those who don’t, MA has a media license available.
Who requires a State Media licence-
- Individuals who wish to access restricted areas for the purpose of taking photos, and/or;
- are attending the event for the specific purpose of taking photos (ie no other reasons to be in attendance), and/or;
- are doing so for commercial purposes.
Who doesn’t require this licence-
- Parents or committee members just taking photos for personal or club history purposes.
