It is after much consideration that we have deemed it necessary to postpone the CQ series for the moment as our numbers are over the required amount for an event. We do not wish to ask families to send only one guardian with their rider, as a) our series is for familes, and b) we use our parents etc. as flag marshals to keep costs down.
We aren’t comfortable with the pressure for points forcing riders to come to the event, as this is the most important series in our region and we don’t what to add that burden to anyone.
Also, putting more pressure on remote QAS and hospitals at this time is unacceptable to us. We are looking at running the last four rounds of our series after the end of May/June, depending on when this crisis is more manageable.
We are aware that a lot of people are shift workers and we will notify of new dates as the very earliest opportunity.
