Home to both the 2017 and 2018 FIM Motocross World Championships (MXGP), Assen, Netherlands will play host to the year’s edition of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN). Commencing on 28th September, Motorcycling Australia (MA) is now calling for all interested competitors to submit their applications to join Team Australia.
Heralded as the biggest Motocross race in the world, the 2018 MXoN saw Team Australia finish in fourth overall behind France, the Netherlands and Great Britain. The impressive feat undertaken by Team Australia saw Hunter Lawrence (MX2) finish second in Race 2 and an eighth-place rostrum in Race 1, as well as Mitch Evans (Open) who clocked in 10th and 14th place finishes over the two days.
2019 will see Team Australia return stronger than ever, with a fire to secure their spot on the podium. To find out more about the upcoming event, please click here.
