TRAIL RIDES
Motorcycling Queensland issues permits to affiliated clubs and private promoters to conduct trail rides in Queensland.
Applying for a Permit
All Trail Rides permitted through Motorcycling Queensland are run in accordance with the Motorcycling Queensland Guidelines for Trail Rides.
Clubs and associations wanting to apply to have their Trail Rides permitted through Motorcycling Queensland should complete the Permit to Conduct a Meeting Application. 
Licence requirements to participate
Riders who hold a current junior or senior Motorcycling Queensland competition licence are eligible to use this licence to participate in Motorcycling Queensland permitted trail rides.
Regular participants at trail rides permitted through Motorcycling Queensland should consider purchasing an annual Recreation Licence.
A discount applies for multiple family members purchasing annual Recreational Licences. The first family member purchasing an annual Recreational Licence pays the full licence fee, every subsequent family member purchasing an annual Recreational Licence is entitled to a 20% discount.
If you do not hold a current annual Junior or Senior Competition Licence or an annual Recreational Licence you will be required to purchase a Single Use Recreational Licence at the event on the day. Single Use Recreational Licences cost $20 and cover the participant for the duration of the event.
Please note this cost is to purchase a licence only, it does not include the participation or ride fee which will be at the discretion of the promoter conducting the event.
