RIDER GRADINGS

Motorcycling Queensland subcommittees are responsible for grading riders in their discipline so that they compete in classes and competitions that are relevant to their skill level and ability.

New junior and senior competition licence holders will usually start in the amateur class to ensure they have time to adapt to the level of competition.

Junior riders who turn senior will also usually commence in the amateur class of competition.

Subcommittees will periodically review results at their monthly meetings and advise Motorcycling Queensland of riders who have been regraded. Motorcycling Queensland will then notify riders of their regrading and forward a certificate advising riders of their new grade.

Riders who want to be considered for regrading can email Motorcycling Queensland and provide supporting evidence such as results and experience. Supporting evidence is used to assess an applicant.

The Motocross Subcommittee has developed a gradings policy for grading senior motocross riders in Queensland.

The following Motorcycling Queensland gradings lists are currently available:

Junior Motocross
Senior Motocross
Womens Senior Motocross
Road Racing
Enduro Pro & Experts
