Staff

Motorcycling Queensland currently employs six full-time staff members. They are as follows:

Mr. Lindsay Granger - General Manager
Mr. Luke Dillon - Marketing Manager
Mr. Kim Rowcliffe - Development Officer
Mrs. Raelene Gray - Events / Office Manager
Miss Megan O'Bierne - Accounts Officer
Miss Courtney Wingfield - Licencing Officer

Mr. Lindsay Granger

General Manager

Lindsay
Lindsay is the General Manager for Motorcycling Queensland, a position which he has occupied since 1995.

He is the 'go to' man for issues such as insurance, club affiliation, strategic direction of the organisation, new Clubs, and following through with goals of the Motorcycling Queensland Executive Committee.

Lindsay knows the sport inside and out, got a question he'll more than likely know the answer.

Mr. Kim Rowcliffe
Development Officer

Kim
Kim has been employed as the Development Officer for Motorcycling Queensland since June 2002.

Some people, rather unkindly (but maybe truthfully), have dubbed him 'The Pretender'...

He looks after the scheduling and coordination of Officials Seminars & Coaching Courses, maintains the MQ website, produces the fortnightly Ride! eNewsletter, and looks after the organisation of the annual MQ Awards Night.

He is also responsible for co-ordinating MQ's Elite Training Program which includes three U16's Talent Identification Camps, and two U21s Elite Training Camps.

Mrs. Raelene Gray

Events / Office Manager

Raelene
Raelene has been with Motorcycling Queensland since June 2005.

She is responsible for issuing permits for events, appointing senior Officials to events, managing the approval of Supplementary Regulations for events, and reviewing and following up Stewards Reports, and managing the Blue Card application process.

Some of you may recognise her as the former Race Secretary for the South-East Queensland Junior Motocross Series – but she says that she gave that up as a bad joke ages ago...

Miss
Megan O'Beirne
Accounts Officer

Megan
Megan joined Motorcycling Queensland in November 2007.

Megan is responsible for ensuring that all of the organisations accounts are in order, and providing ongoing assistance to the General Manager, and any other staff member who whinges and complains that they are too busy...

Clubs should pay their accounts ontime, otherwise they'll have Megan to deal with...

She is aslso responsible for liasing with MQ's many subcommittees to make sure that the monthly Club and Subcommittee mailout goes out on time.

Miss Courtney Wingfield
Licencing Officer / Reception

CourtneyCourtney was employed into the position of Licencing Officer in October 2007.

In this role, Courtney is responsible for the processing of all riding licences, including riding numbers. A huge task considering Motorcycling Queensland has in excess of 6,000 riding licences.

Courtney also looks after the front office reception, so she will usually be the first port-of-call when contacting MQ with general enquiries.

Make sure your licence application is complete otherwise you'll get a phone call from Courtney saying you've balls things up...
