There are a number of Committees and Subcommittees which contribute to the ongoing success of Motorcycling Queensland. Each is responsible for providing advice in its specific area of responsibility. They are as follows:

Executive Committee:

The Motorcycling Queensland Executive Committee is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the organisation and the organisations ongoing financial stability.

Central Queensland Sub Committee:

The Central Queensland Sub-Committee meets approximately twice a year, and is responsible for discussing issues and recommending solutions to issues effecting the running of motorcycle events in Central Queensland.

The current make-up of the Central Queensland Subcommittee is:

Coaching Committee:

The Motorcycling Queensland Coaching Committe is responsible for the strategic planning in areas such as: expanding the current pool of available coaches, conduct elite training camps, communicate with licenced coaches, monitoring and improving course content provided for coaching courses, development of coaching guidelines, recommending applicants for Level 2 coaching courses (conducted by Motorcycling Australia).

Dirt Track Sub Committee:

The Motorcycling Queensland Dirt Track Sub committee meets on a monthly basis and is responsible for, amongst other things: approving event Supplementary Regulations, viewing event reports, approving venues for State Championships, recommendations on the overall strategic direction of Dirt Track racing in Queensland.

The Motorcycling Queensland Junior Sub committee meets on a monthly basis and is responsible for, amongst other things: considering requests from junior riders seeking upgrades, provide input on the development of juniors and junior motorcycle racing via the Junior Development Plan, manage the South-East Queensland Junior Motocross & Dirt Track Series, selecting the recipient of the annual Junior Achiever of the Year award.

Officials Review Board (ORB):

The Motorcycling Queensland Executive appoints the Officials REview Board (ORB) whose role it is to ensure that accredited officials throughout Queensland remain at a high standard, and that the training that is provided for all officials (via course content) is the most up-to-date and current information available.

The ORB mets on a monthly basis to consider requests from officials wanting to upgrade their accreditations to Level 3 and 4, and complaints and issues arising from events involving the performance of licenced officials.
