Queensland Women's Week continues with experienced coach and rider

Tania Millard, our third representative, takes us on her journey

Tania Millard, our third lady to feature in Queensland’s Women’s Week was the first female to obtain a level 2 coaching accreditation. She has raced at the International Women’s Motocross titles in the USA and has been on the national women’s motorcycling committee, the Queensland women’s committee and the Queensland coaching committee. She is currently a member of the sport development committee and has obtained a venue inspectors license. Tania is continually raising awareness of opportunities for women and girls to take part in various roles of motorcycling and is a true advocate for women in the sport.

Toowoomba’s Sarah Guthrie had a great start to defending her title by taking the win at the opening round of the 2015 Yamaha Queensland Motocross Championships at Six Mile Raceway Rockhampton over the weekend of April 3 – 5.
