Motorcycling Queensland's 2015 Annual General Meeting will take place on May 6.

As part of this year's AGM, the MQ Board has reviewed the 2012 approved Constitution to bring it up to date in terms of allowing electronic voting, correcting some anomalies re notice timeframes and better structuring the disciplinary options of the sport.

The Board has also undertaken an extensive review of the sports regulations with the view to repealing many and carrying others over into the Club Manual, Events Manual or similar documents.  A full review of the Regulations and associated action is available here for your reference.

Under the MQ constitution, any member may object to the enactment or repeal of any regulation proposed by the MQ board. The minimum time the MQ board can set for the submission of objections is 30 business days.

Therefore, if any MQ member has any objection to the proposed repeal of all MQ regulations, please submit that objection in writing within 32 business days of the date of this article; ie by COB on May 15, 2015.
