The 2019 Queensland Motocross Championships are about to fire into life to decide the recipients of this year's maroon plates for motocross.

More than 150 entries have so far been received before the opener at Lang Park, Townsville on June 29/30.

The battle will rage across junior classes from 50cc Auto right up to Junior Lites, and into the senior QMX1 and QMX2 Championship classes.

QMX1 Entries already received promise a tantalising showdown and include defending #1 plate holder Caleb Ward, former state champ Kaleb Barham, full-time FMX rider Robbie Marshall, newly-crowned Airoh Series Champion Mason Rowe, as well as nationally-ranked North Queenslander Richie Evans and rising youngster Tye Jones.

In QMX2, Barham and Rowe will take on brand new Airoh QMX2 champion Jayce Cosford, impressive youngster Noah Ferguson and Mason Rowe.

On-time Entries will now be accepted up to the 23rd of June (and still make the program), while late entries will be accepted until June 26, but will incur a late fee.
