A very successful 2019 Women on Wheels MX series is about to wrap up this weekend, with the series finale at Warwick and Districts MX club.
The series saw numbers almost double from last year, with the last round at Goondiwindi seeing 17 senior Women take to the gates.
Some fierce competition ensued, between Tahlia Drew, Ebony Nielsen, Hayley Miller, Abbey Morrice and Julie Denyer, who all enjoyed some great battles.
Olivia Jinx went 1,1,1 in her C grade motos as well, but nipping at her heals were Harmony Perry and Sindey Peach.
The Series finale this weekend is expected to go off with a bang, and Series co-ordinator Mel Stagg has decided to enjoy the experience from behind bars, taking to the gates to race on the Warwick track.
“Yes, that is actually happening,” said Stagg, “it started off as a publicity stunt, and then Taryn turned it in to a poll on our page, and the response was amazing. So here we go!”
There are plenty of prizes and raffles to give away, and the Warwick club is having a dinner on the Saturday night.
