With only a little over two weeks until the SEQJMX Series kicks off at Suncoast JMC on the 1st & 2nd September, entries are filling fast, or in some cases already filled.
This SEQJMX series promotes graded racing for junior classes, while at the same time giving C grade riders a forum in which to gain confidence and experience at being their own main event, according to Series Coordinator and Race Secretary Anne Polsoni.
“The series is a great stepping stone between club racing and state or national level,” says Anne, “and it really highlights the graduation goal that most C graders are working towards.
“It’s popular for the C grade riders but the A & B Grade juniors are not forgotten either as they get to enjoy a faster-paced race where they are pushed to chase and follow the lines of some of the best in the State – or in some cases, the country.”
Entries close officially on August 24 at 8pm but some classes may (and have) fill/filled before this time so don’t wait until the last minute to enter – because you may be disappointed.
The senior side was originally a support class, but now enjoys major popularity in its own right.
Veterans and Women’s class is now full with ten female riders entered, while QMX2 is also full, however riders who have missed out in QMX2 can still be a part of the fun as the QMX1 class is an unlimited class, so a rider can enter their MX2 bike in QMX1 if they wish.

A Special award will be handed out each day for great sportsmanship or encouragement.
Overnight camping is available at all rounds for a small fee. SEQ Camping has been the cornerstone of the many friendships which have formed over the years so come and join the fun.
