The Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland will be running the Pirelli Masters of Morgan Park on the 19th and 20th of May 2018.  This fantastic event features the Queensland Historic Road Race Championships for Period 5/6 and Pre 2K solo machines.  The weekend will also include Round 2 of the B.E.A.R.S (British, European and American Race Supporters) with classes from Formula 1 through to Formula 5.  Round 2 of the Formula 1 and Formula 2 Australian Sidecar Championships will also be contested.

A special feature of the weekend will be the Gregg Hansford Trophy Event. The top 30 riders (chosen from the combined qualifying/race 1 times) will have the opportunity to challenge for this well sought-after trophy.  $1500.00 prize money has generously been donated from Pirelli ensuring that there will some fierce competition and great racing on display.  Classes will be run up to 500cc and 501cc-1300cc.

During the lunch break on both Saturday and Sunday, the public will have the opportunity to ride 2 laps around Morgan Park.  The Parade Laps will be capped at the first 40 people.  To participate in this event riders will need to sign an indemnity form.  The club will be asking for a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to a charity in Warwick.

Spectators are welcome and entry to the Pirelli Masters of Morgan Park is free. Gates are open from 7am both days, with racing starting on Saturday after 12pm and continuing all day Sunday.  Food and drinks are available at the track and there is plenty of parking.
