The Inglewood stop on the 2018 Dalby Moto Trail Ride series calendar saw 667 keen trailriders test their skills on a course that had something for everybody.
Located 150k south-west of Toowoomba, the town of Inglewood turned on a combination of nice flowing trail, gnarly, difficult stuff to challenge the experienced, and surfaces from dry, powdery bulldust to rocky shale and round river rocks.
Saturday night brought good food, a live band that you could listen to from your camp site, good company and good times. It also brought a couple of hours of rain to perfectly settle the dust for the morning.
They do things a little differently in the country, so Sunday dawned with a wakeup siren played from the joy ride helicopter, as it announced the approaching riders briefing for 7.30.
In fact the 'wakeup chopper' was on duty all weekend to provide joy rides ...for those who weren't using motorcycles to get their joy rides.
Sunday's track featured plenty of tough optional hillclimbs to challenge the spirited - well marked so the riders wouldn't take them by mistake!
You never know quite what you're going to get in the Dalby Moto trailride series - apart from fun and adventure. You know you're going to get that!
Next on the Dalby Moto 2018 Trail Ride series is the Kaimkillenbun Trailride May 5 and 6
