Queensland's road racing stocks look in decent shape after the first round of the GP Juniors Cup, held at the second round of the Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli (ASBK), at Wakefield.

Round winner Max Stauffer (Chris Watson, Yamaha R15) won the opening round from Queenslanders John Lytras and Harrison Voight.

Stauffer claimed two race wins and a second in an impressive performance, but 13-year-old Lytras (Yamaha R15) stood in the way of his perfect weekend taking out race two.

The youngest rider in the class, 11-year-old Voight (Voight Contracting, Yamaha R15) left Wakefield Park in third position overall after a consistent and solid weekend's racing, picking up two podium positions and a fourth.
