Richmond River Run

Over the two days we saw very good weather with little wind and warm days compared to previous years. The track was dry and dusty with plenty of sand, bush and creek beds. There had been little rain over the last 6 years and none in the last four months making the track very dusty an riders found it challenging, but many said they would return next year. The winner of Ironman was Ricky Lane who won in 2016 and came 8th at Finke 2017. We saw great sponsors, competitors and volunteers over the weekend and the club was pleased with the overall success of the event.
