Tivoli Rd 5

After two rounds out west the Airoh Helmet MX Series moved back to the South East for Round 5 Airoh MX Series at Tivoli Raceway.

With over 400 bikes entered spectators saw hard and fast racing in all classes that will see all classes decided at the final round in Toowoomba.

Juniors took to the track on Saturday with close racing in all classes of racing. The 12/13 years Mini Lites after 5 rounds 1st  Brad West and 2nd Deegan Mancinelli   are tied on points moving into the final round.

Charli Cannon took it to the boys again finishing 2nd to Jack Mather 1st and MPE rider Kobe Drew 3rd. With the rain coming in Saturday afternoon it made for interesting racing with the 125 and 50cc racers getting the wettest and toughest time on the track. But the little racers held strong and bought it home with Heath Fisher 1st Max Stevenson 2nd Peter Wolfe 3rd

Sunday we woke to overcast skies with a perfect track after Saturdays rain. Moto 1 was Pro /Int with a near full grid showing us racing and speed you would see at a National level. TLR Yamahas Ricky Latimer 1st showed awesome speed coming from behind to take the top step of the podium ahead of Daniel Livsey 2nd and Kaleb Barham 3rd at the end of 3 x 20 minute motos. The pro open was also hot property with hard racing in all motos seeing Luke Styke 1st take the overall from Jesse Dobson 2nd and red plate holder Zak Small 3rd .

With 2 grids of Clubman Lites QMX2 it was Cody Schat 1st who took the overall from Mark Lobley 2nd Shaun Kennedy 3rd.

June 3 / 4 will see us take the final Rd to Toowoomba deciding all 2017 Airoh MX Series Champions.
