MQ AGM: Constitutional Amendments

Motorcycling Queensland's 2017 Annual General Meeting took place at MQ’s headquarters, Ipswich on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017.


The 2016 Annual Report was presented by President Jim Feehely who outlined MQ’s progress with the Willowbank Project and the proposed sale of Tivoli Raceway, ongoing development of Queensland Moto Park, MQ’s relationship with an improving Motorcycling Australia, MQ club collaboration and developmental initiatives, just some of the key issues that were covered.


The Declaration of the Ballot, revealed no change to the elected MQ board members, with Lisa Fox retaining her position as Vice-President, and Allan Halley and Derek Rumble returning as board members.

Immediately following the AGM, a Special General Meeting was held with the express purpose to consider proposed changes to the MQ constitution. A copy of the explanatory memorandum outlining the changes to the constitution can be viewed here.
