We left Australia on 1 December 2016 to train with Ben Townley in New Zealand for 10 weeks.  While there the boys raced Summercross, King of the Mountain and Woodville GP as well as Club days.  Both boys won their respective classes at Summercross - Noah in 85cc 11-12 years and Adam in 12-14 years 125.  Noah also won his 85cc class at King of the Mountain and Woodville GP.  Adam came 5th at King of the Mountain after a crash in the last place.  At Woodville Adam was having a fantastic day with 2 holeshots and 2nd in the first 2 races, was 2nd in the last race when he hit a kicker on an upramp and had a big crashing resulting in a badly broken foot requiring a plate, screws and pins to repair.  Although getting a DNF in the last race he finishes in 6th place.

We moved to Millsaps Training Facility in Cairo, Georgia in mid February.  Noah has been training full time since then and after 7 weeks off Adam is back on the bike in the last week although not at 100% yet.

Noah competed at the Ricky Carmichael SX at Daytona in mid March and placed 6th in the 85cc 9-11 class and 10th in the 85cc 9-12 class.

Both boys will be going through a series of area and regional qualifiers with the aim to qualify for Loretta Lynns in August.  Noah's first area qualifier is this weekend.  Adam willl have his first qualifier later in April once he is closer to full recovery as he is still doing physical therapy.

Having been here just over a month we are all settling in and everyone has been very welcoming.  The boys are enjoying their training and we are looking forward to what the next few months brings.
