Zachary Watson selected to represent the Husqvarna Australia Junior MX Team 2017

After his most successful year to date in 2016 Zac is very much looking forward to the year ahead

Zac started riding at the age of 2 and started racing at the age of 4 in 2008 on a Divi 1, progressing to full competition on a Divi 2 in  2011 when he convincingly won most races be entered.
His first Title was in 2012 where he was state champion for DT. And Aussie Champion in DT.  This was also our 1st year competing at the Aussies MX where he finished 15th
In 2013 on a Divi 2 he finished 2nd at the Aussies on the mx and 1st on the Divi 2 at the Aussie DT. 3rd in the Queensland's.
He finished 10th at the Aussie MX in 2014 his first big race on the 65,  1st on the 85 and 2nd on the 65 in the Aussie Long Track in 2014.

4th at the Aussie MX in 2015.

Zacs biggest most successful year to date was in 2016 where he finished 1st in the CQS TNQS Qlds and the Aussie MX on the 65, and 1st in the CQS and TNQS in the 85 unfortunately a few mechanical issues he was unable to finish the Qlds or Aussies in top positions.
2017 Sees Zac being selected to represent the Husqvarna Australia Junior MX Team he is very much looking forward to the year ahead.
His favorite food is crumbed schnitzel with melted cheese and gravy.
He has 2 PT sessions a week along with 3-5 days of on the bike training.  He trains at North Queensland MX Development Park.  Dad and Scott Roots along with Craig Carmichael are his Coaches sometimes mum when needed.
His favorite Series aside from Aussies and Qlds is the CQS his favorite track he has too many to list just 1.
He enjoys mountain biking and does this in the off season to stay fit.
His long term goals are to race the world's in 2018 and look at heading overseas either in Europe or the US in 2019.
