Motorcycling Queensland and Queensland Moto Park (QMP) are pleased to release details of QMP’s first ever Holiday Camp, set to take place in January 2017.
Held over three days, the camp will cater to all ages and abilities, making it the perfect destination for families during the January school holidays. The camp will cover essential skills from riding positions, braking, cornering and bike maintenance, right through to riding berms, race starts, whoops and more.
The camp will be coordinated by one of Motorcycling Australia’s most renowned Coaches, and Yamaha ATV Safety Instructor, Rod Jenner. Rod will be joined by four times world International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) Champion Jemma Wilson, and Motocross / Supercross coach and rider, Barry Surawski.
The camp will also offer a variety of fun, off-the-bike activities, and there are discounts for additional family members.
There are two available dates for the camp:
January 9 – 11, 2017 – register here
January 16 – 18, 2017 – register here
Registrations are now open, and close on January 4, 2017 (or when entries are full).
Yamaha will be bringing their Race Truck to the camp, and offering optional Motorcycle Technician Courses over the three days.
Also optional will be the opportunity to gain Supercross accreditation by Barry Surawski on day four, for just $120 per head. This accreditation allows riders to compete in Supercross events, and utilise the Supercross track at Queensland Moto Park. Riders must have a solid skill level to be able to participate in this coaching.
