Motorcycling Queensland is pleased to release the new and improved Talented Rider Identification Program (TRIP).
TRIP is a revamped version of the U21 Elite Training Camp, and nominations are open NOW.
Enduro Champion Jemma Wilson is this year’s “face of the camp”, having attended the camp in 2004 and now a live-in presenter and Chaperone since 2009. Jemma is the perfect example of where this camp can take you. After attending the camp Jemma has gone on to win the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) for the past three years in a row with the Australian Team.
The five day ‘live-in’ style Camp, will be held at the internationally renowned ‘Kings College’ at the University of Queensland, St. Lucia campus from December 12 – 16, 2016.
TRIP focuses exclusively on off-the-bike skills, and covers such topics as nutrition, sports psychology, strength and conditioning, individual athlete assessments, developing and maintaining training programs, media and communication skills, and much more.
Motorcycling Queensland licenced riders aged 15 – 20 years who have the potential and desire to ‘go all the way’ are invited to nominate for this Program. Motorcycling Queensland encourages female riders to nominate to attend the camp, as two positions will be reserved for our best lady riders… but we’d love to accept more than two of you, so nominate now!
TRIP now has its own page on the MQ website. Click here
to view the page and download the nomination form. Nominations are due Friday 18th November 2016.
