Preparations in full swing for Pony Express Rd 2

Preparations in full swing for Pony Express Rd 2

The paddock is smaller than the last event throwing up a few extra challenges for the team to successfully mark out a good track for our riders small and big. This venue promises to provide varying degrees of skill to navigate around the hills, some creek crossings, logs, rocks and off camber terrain but I am sure this will be a breeze for those who like a challenge thrown in.

Karolla Harvey, director and partner of E.D.G. says that both tracks are completed with the senior track being 19klms long and not forgetting the junior track of approx. 9klms in length with some challenges for the smaller wheel.

The venue also lends itself to spectator viewing of both the junior and senior tracks from the campsite. Unfortunately, there won’t be any catering available on site therefore those that attend will need to be self-sufficient with Aratula township only approx. 20mins from the event and Rosewood township approx. 35mins in the other direction.

For more information, make sure you download the Supplementary Regulations here, and enter online via www.queenslandenduro.com.au.

Happy riding, be safe, shall see you at the event 28th August 2016. Michael, Karolla and the Team at E.D.G.
