Queensland Moto Park (QMP) is ready to celebrate its fifth birthday this year, which will culminate in the state’s largest multi-disciplined motorcycle event at the same venue.

MotoFest premiered in 2015, where 89 of Queensland’s best riders travelled to Queensland Moto Park, Boonah, to compete in Australia’s newest motorcycle event.

This year, the event is ready to roll with a number of new installments, on the long weekend of October 1 & 2, 2016.

MotoFest Street Festival in Boonah:

Since its opening in 2011, Queensland Moto Park has drawn 30,000 park participants to the Scenic Rim annually. The park is located just 7kms from Boonah, which will again host a Street Festival as part of MotoFest on Saturday, October 1, offering stalls, food and entertainment. This year will also see a large number of vintage motorcycles on show in Boonah, and then raced at the park the following day.

Changes to the 2016 edition of MotoFest:

In 2016, MotoFest will combine the motorcycle disciplines of Enduro, Trials, Vintage Motocross, and Freestyle Motocross, to showcase motorcycling on the main stage in Boonah. Organisers are currently in discussions with mountain bike riders, postie bike clubs, sky divers and more.

There will also be Come ‘n Try, Minikhana and dealer demos available on the day, allowing attendees to get a taste of motorcycle sport and recreation.
