RRAT held its Coaching Day on Saturday 23 July . The club couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise, although it had a few members worried earlier in the week with chances of rain predicted.
With 30 seniors and 8 juniors participating, Leo Cash and Gary McCoy were very well received by all. Everyone got plenty of riding in, and the coaching day turned into a practice later in the afternoon, later ending under lights.
The RRAT would like to thank everyone involved in making this event such a great one. As well as the coaching and officials on the day, there are many other behind the scenes jobs, picking up the loan bikes, organizing the paperwork, lunches, setting up and of course packing away, just to mention a few.
Great appreciation as well to Futuresport and Suncity Yamaha for the loan of their bikes for the coaches to ride.
RRAT would also like to thank Motorcycling Queensland who have very generously awarded the club $750.00 from the Club Development Grant. The RRAT were very honoured to receive this grant.
From feedback from riders at the end of the day, it seems the event was a great success.
GO THE RRAT!!
