The Australian Classic Motocross Championship is to be contested over two days of competition at Harrisville Queensland on June 18 – 19.

2016 marks the 25th anniversary of interstate vintage motocross competition, with the 1991 event having been held at Dargle NSW. The riders that competed at Dargle, and also ride this year will be honoured at a dinner on Sunday evening.

Also in recognition of the machines that dominated in the early days of the sport, a special feature will be the "Best of British Challenge". Entries include famous names such as Triumph, BSA, Greeves, Ariel, CCM etc. and due to the wide performance variation the Challenge will be run on a handicap start.

Riders are coming from all states and the NT and include some famous names from the past.

Entries close this Friday, July 3, and some classes are nearing capacity numbers already.
