Keppel Coast Dirt Bike Club (KCDBC) will be holding their next club day on Mother’s Day (May 8), and there’s some awesome surprises in store for riders.
It’s the next event in the club’s revamped club series, where riders will get the chance to win a share of the holeshot prizes up for grabs in the last round of racing, thanks to the generosity of local sponsors. KCDBC’s major sponsor, Capricorn Coast Sand and Soil, with the support of Total Diesel Services and JP Moto Yeppoon, will be helping to give back to the riders through sponsorship of these holeshot awards.
The idea is the newest in the club’s endeavour to increase rider numbers at the growing club. President Paul Warr says improved tracks and facilities have seen more locals get involved.
“With the help of these great local sponsors, our next club day is set to be a big one,” he says.
“Head out to Coastal Park to check out the action!”
It’s the fourth club day of the year, where riders will be battling it out to earn points for their club championship campaign. The club caters to young 50cc riders, all the way through to masters and women, who test their skills on the Coastal Park Motocross track.
Coastal Park is situated on Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road, about 10km out of Yeppoon.
