Motorcycling Queensland’s 2015 International Rider of the Year, Jemma Wilson, has confirmed she’ll be riding at the Yamaha Queensland 2 Day this weekend at Queensland Moto Park.

Wilson’s announcement means that two thirds of the epic Australian Women’s International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) team will be at the event.

Joining Wilson will be teammate Tayla Jones, making the trip from her home state of New South Wales.

The Australian Women’s ISDE Team have won the gruelling world Enduro event for the past three years in a row, and these two girls will be hard to beat this weekend.

A host of high profile riders will be joining Wilson and Jones, including Kirk Hutton, Fraser Higlett, Lachlan Stanford, Tom McCormack and Josh Green.

The series has again been coordinated by the Motorcycling Queensland (MQ) Enduro Subcommittee, and the team have been working tirelessly with staff from Queensland Moto Park to open a whole new section of the park for the 2 Day.

Chair of the MQ Enduro Subcommittee Mark Counsell says the tracks are looking great, and there’ll be something for everyone at this year’s opening round.

Queensland Moto Park is located at 110 Goan Road, Coulson. Racing kicks off at 9am on Saturday and at 8am on Sunday, and spectators are welcome to come and join in the fun.
