2016 is looking bigger and better than ever in Queensland Motorcycle Sport, and we’re proud to introduce a number of new clubs and club developments happening this year…
Motorcycling Queensland’s three newest affiliated clubs include:
Winton Dirtbike Club: Winton Dirtbike Club are fully affiliated with MQ, and are currently raising funds to set up their first track. Find them on Facebook here.
Tablelands Enduro Riders Association: Tablelands Enduro Riders Association (T.E.R.A.) aim to give their members more places to ride in FNQ, and intend to hold pony express, sprints, EnduroX, natural terrain events and trail rides. Find them on Facebook here.
Nambour Indigenous Motocross Club: The last club on the list, Nambour Indigenous Motocross Club (NMX), is our newest club in South East Queensland, and aims to encourage both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous youth to hit the Motocross track. NMX say they deliver a service linking Sunshine Coast Indigenous and Non-Indigenous youth and their families with the activity of riding dirt bikes, whilst undertaking education around safety and correct use of motor vehicles. NMX will have particular emphasis on engaging Indigenous Youth who are otherwise disengaged, by assisting them to overcome social and economic barriers.
