This weekend, some of the state’s best junior Speedway riders will head to Kingaroy for the Queensland Junior 125cc Solo Championship (Saturday, November 28).

With no gears, no breaks, and no fear, riders are set to entertain crowds from the South Burnett region and beyond.

The championship will be decided over four-lap heats. Fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh point scorers will compete in the B Final for a chance to get into the A Final. First, second and third point scorers (plus the winner of the B Final) will go on to compete in the A final to decide the championship.

This is the first time the Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway Club have hosted a State Championship, having just formed in March last year.

The club’s revved and ready to bring the speed and slide back to South Burnett.

From 6pm, spectators will be able to catch all of the fast-paced action at Kingaroy Showgrounds, with entry just $5 for anyone 13 years and over. Entry is free for under 13s. A canteen will be open with plenty of food and refreshments.
