Nominations for U21 Elite Training Camp now due

A reminder that nominations for the 2015 U21 Elite Training Program are due today (Friday, 20th November).

The 5 day ‘live-in’ style Camp, will be held at the internationally renowned ‘Kings College’ at the University of Queensland, St. Lucia campus from 14th – 18th December 2015.

Queensland licensed riders aged 15 – 20 years who have the potential and desire to ‘go all the way’ are invited to nominate for this Camp.

“Attendees will undergo extensive fitness testing, and will also receive exposure to programs and information which it is hoped will assist them in fulfilling their potential” says Camp Coordinator - Rodney Jenner.

The Camp focuses exclusively on off-the-bike skills, and covers such topics as Nutrition, Sports Psychology, Strength & Conditioning, individual Athlete Assessments, developing & maintaining Training Programs, Media and Communication skills, and much more.

Female riders are encouraged to apply.

Riders interested in nominating for either the ‘First Timer’ or ‘Refresher’ Camp are asked to complete the official Nomination Form located in the  Information Pack (click here to download). Nominations must be received by close of business Friday 20th November 2015.
