VMX Whitsunday have just wrapped up their sixth Diamond Don art union, but you’ve still got a chance to win a trip to the 2015 Island Classic!

The ‘Booksellers prize’ was originally won by Gary in the United States, but after looking at his wallet, Gary decided against the $5,000 airfare to Australia for the Island Classic.

So now it’s your chance to win – there’s just 500 tickets available at $10 each, drawn at 3pm, December 23rd at the Boomerang Hotel, Mackay.

The prize includes a very long weekend for two adults from January 21 – 25, staying at the Ramada Phillip Island Resort.

The lucky winner will also receive five days care hire, two souvenir t-shirts, entries to Phillip Island circuit, with access to the Corporate Facilities on Sunday, plus a massive $1,000 spending money.

To purchase tickets electronically, please send an email to: vmxwhitsunday@gmail.com and include your Name, Address, Phone Number, preferred email address and number of tickets you wish to purchase. You will receive an Invoice within 7 days confirming your purchase with a Paypal payment function linked to Invoice.

To sell books of tickets, please contact promoter Ron Single on 0429 451 475.

The overall winner of Diamond Don no. 6 was John Pittman from Townsville. John was very deserving of the prize (a trip to Diamond Don’s in the US), having been involved in the motorcycle scene since the 1970s, and a very active member of the Townsville Motorcycle Club.

John’s son Hayden was also a very active member at the club, and competed in events all over Queensland. Tragically, Hayden crashed in practice one day, and suffered serious injuries. He passed away in November, 2011.

Hayden is remembered each year at the club’s Hayden Pittman Memorial, which always has a great turnout of riders from all over the state.
