It’s a wrap for the 2015 KTM South East Queensland Junior Series, after the last round wrapped up in Coolum over the weekend (October 24 - 25).

With 900 riders lining up to contest the series which saw A,B and C grades in all junior classes provide some spectacular racing. This year saw the inclusion of a Clubman Under 19 years and a Veterans class to join the Senior Unlimited class. Entries were well up on last year’s numbers, which was very pleasing.

Family and friends cheering on riders created a great atmosphere. An average of 20 riders at each round participated in the 50cc Demonstration class, and it was wonderful to see so many young riders just starting out and giving it their all.

Round prize money and series trophies were awarded to lucky and talented riders. We witnessed some great acts of sportsmanship; these acts were also given special awards.

Final results can be viewed on MyLaps here. Ben Wilson from the Mini Lites 12-15years B Grade took home the KTM Trophy for the highest pointed rider on a KTM.
Series 1st place getters were –

50cc Auto - Jacob Johnston;
65cc 7-9yrs – A grade  Billy Hargy, B grade Jack Hall, C grade  Cooper Windolf
65cc 10-U12yrs – A grade Ryan Alexanderson, B grade Zane Dorrell, C grade Daniel Ryan

Organisers would like to thank all the series sponsors, volunteers, hosting clubs, officials and most of all the riders and their parents for making the series a success, you are to be commended on your behaviour and efforts.
