Australia’s richest and most prestigious dirt bike series is all set to roar into life at Jimboomba X Stadium this weekend with the staging of round two of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship on Saturday evening, October 17.

In an exclusive media preview to the massive event, the leading stars of the Australian Supercross Championship will get a taste of the brand new USA-style Supercross circuit that has been built specifically for the event at a MEDIA PREVIEW taking place at the track at 12 NOON THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16.

Just some of the leading Supercross teams and riders who will attend and who will be available for interviews and filming include:

+ Team Motul Suzuki: MATT MOSS, reigning two-time Australian SX1 Supercross Champion and winner of last weekend’s 2015 opening round at Bathurst, NSW.

Event organiser Scott Bannan, who is a Jimboomba local and massive motorcycle sport enthusiast, will also be available to the media during Friday’s media call.

The spectacular new Jimboomba X Stadium track, located in the heart of the Logan City Council region, has been built by one of Australia’s top Supercross track builders, Tom Moss, who is the step-brother of Australian Supercross superstar twins, Matt and Jake Moss.

Thousands of cubic metres of dirt have been carefully shaped into the final track design that on Saturday will host a huge field of Australia’s best Supercross stars and leading international contenders.

Round one of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship was held last Saturday night (October 10) at Bathurst, NSW, on the weekend of the annual Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercar race.

Reigning two-time national Supercross champion Matt Moss returned to racing at the Bathurst event and picked up right where he left off, winning the SX1 final ahead of Queenslander Dan Reardon from the CDR Yamaha Racing team and American star Gavin Faith, who is now into his fifth straight season racing the Australian Championship for the Penrite Honda Racing team.

In the SX2 class at Bathurst, Faith's American team mate in the Penrite Honda squad, Jimmy Decotis, made his first-ever race in Australia a successful one, winning the SX2 Final ahead of Serco Yamaha rider Luke Clout and South Australian ace Luke Arbon (SD3 Husqvarna). With a birthday coming up this Thursday (October 15), Decotis hopes to have dual reasons to celebrate come Saturday night.
