The A4DE is just around the corner, and Queensland’s got one awesome team heading to Tasmania for the big event on October 19 – 25.
Fresh from his ISDE campaign, Lachlan Stanford will join the likes of Kristian Sprenger and Kane Hall on the Senior Trophy Team.
Rees Hatchman, Jaiden Treasure, Cameron Binstead and Michael McCormack make up Queensland's Junior Trophy Team. Michael McCormack is the younger brother of Tom McCormack, who took out the E1 Class honours at last year's A4DE.
On the Women's Trophy Team, Jemma Wilson has also recently returned from the ISDE in Slovakia, where her team clinched a first place finish, for the third consecutive year in a row. Wilson will be joined by Natasha Cairns and Finke finisher Melissa Bruce.
Melissa says she's looking forward to this year's A4DE, and looks to improve from last year's results.
"It's great to be on the Ladies team again this year for such an awesome race," she says.
"Bring it on!"
Our Sunny State team will join a total of 227 competitors, at an event put on by The Tasmanian Endurance Riders Club (TERC), Coastal Motocross Club (CMXC) and the Motorcycle Enduro Riders Club (MERC).
This is the first time the A4DE has been held in Tasmania in the event’s 37 year history.
Some of our best riders will be up against AMA National Enduro champion Russell Bobbitt, who will be looking to add an A4DE title to his impressive racing resume, as well as the likes of Daniel Milner, Toby Price and Chris Hollis.
