Central Burnett back in business

Central Burnett Motorcycle Club made a big comeback over the weekend (August 15 – 16), holding a fully-booked coaching day, Come and Try day and Practice.

It was the first time the club had opened its doors since floods washed away the Munduberra Motocross Track in 2013.

The club was able to rebuild thanks to a grant of $22,335 from the Queensland Government, a dedicated club committee, and a lot of work from willing volunteers.

Central Burnett Motorcycle club says 35 people turned up to their Come and Try day on the weekend, an event that allows new riders to have a go at motorcycle sport and earn themselves a free recreational or discounted competition licence in the process.

The club says the day was a success.

“It was great to see so many young and enthusiastic riders out there giving it a go for the first time,” they say.

“We hope you all had a great time and we hope to see you out again soon”.
