Cairns Motorcycle Club held Round Two of the FNQ Development Series last weekend (July 25 -26).

Australian Motocross Coach Glenn McDonald came home from the World Junior Motocross titles to visit FNQ and coach the next generation of superstars in Cairns.

The Development Series is special because it focuses on rider development and improvement over the series, with rider classes grouped according to ability and experience. This gives the less experienced riders a chance to win awards that they would probably otherwise normally not receive. The improvement in these riders is evident over the course of each round.

FNQ is fortunate to have MACA Coaching support the series and Glenn provides coaching on the Saturday at the club before mentoring riders while they race on the Sunday.

The Cairns club made local news with the round- check out their Facebook page for the footage.

The FNQ Interclub Development Series moves to Tully this weekend (August 1 - 2), before finishing up at Mareeba in two weeks time.
